A synchronization point that enqueues a barrier operation.

cl_int clEnqueueBarrier ( cl_command_queue command_queue)


clEnqueueBarrier is a synchronization point that ensures that all queued commands in command_queue have finished execution before the next batch of commands can begin execution.


Returns CL_SUCCESS if the function was executed successfully. It returns CL_INVALID_COMMAND_QUEUE if command_queue is not a valid command-queue and returns CL_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY if there is a failure to allocate resources required by the OpenCL implementation on the host.
