Members

Member Descriptions

  • time is the time of the transient, as a duration in nanoseconds since the start of the haptic event.

  • amplitude is the normalized amplitude of the transient, with a value between 0.0 and 1.0 (inclusive).

  • frequency is the normalized frequency of the transient, with a value between 0.0 and 1.0 (inclusive).

Description

This structure describes a transient, which is a brief and abrupt change of amplitude and frequency.

The intensity of a transient is set by the amplitude value, while the frequency value has an effect on how sharp a transient feels.
